Residential mortgage securitisation constitutes a substantial element in the funding mix of de Volksbank.

In a securitisation transaction, the economic ownership of residential mortgage loans is transferred to separate companies. De Volksbank retains an interest in the companies and consolidates these companies in its financial statements in full.
